Absolutely disgusting reception staff here. Clearly think they own the surgery and like to pass judgement on you. Was halfway through registering here as a new patient but thought better of it. Dont expect good service here - Im sure the doctors are experienced, its just a shame I didnt get past the rude self entitled reception staff to see that. Would give a 0 if I could.
Slowly but surely this surgery has gone down hill, now in the hands of a business corporation they are at their worse. Drs seem to a have a small quota of medication they can prescribe and if you're unfortunate enough to be seen after the quota has been reached you get nothing. I saw Dr Wilde with what turned out to be a severe strep infection in my ear and throat and was given nothing. This ended up with me seeing out of hours Dr who was astonished I was given nothing. They are going the right way to losing all their patients. Also not wheelchair friendly.
Receptions seem to think there doctors! They never let u finish explaining your problem they just interrupt u at every moment! They've refused on serevrall occasions to give me my asthma pump and have told me to call a ambulance for a pump if it's a emergency. Today they told me I had to contact my chemist for a asthma pump to be request then call the doctor back to request it back to the chemist? I'm confused of how that works.
The absolute worst doctor's surgery in history. They are absolutely incompetent and cannot do anything right. A week after I supoosedly registered at the surgery I was sent a text message saying I had been registered and I could now make appointments. Upon making an appointment I was told by the doctor that I hadn't even been properly registered. The appointment was three weeks after I had applied to be registered at the surgery and they had done absolutely nothing in that time. Now I find out that they have registered me twice which is rendering my dealings with them useless, as many of my results have been either jumbled or lost. Requests that I make are again either ignored completely or lost. They cannot keep proper records and it is practically impossible to make an appointment. The absolute worst part of it however is that without fail every single receptionist is incredibly rude over the phone. They talk down to you and seem to have little to no sympathy for you despite their causing all of your problems. It is obvious they have no desire to be there and no respect for any of their clients and I will likely be transferring to a different surgery at the earliest opportunity. If I could give them zero stars i would. DO NOT REGISTER.
I have always been impressed with the shifting number of capable doctors at this Surgery. However, using the phone for appointments is a real trial. One can wait a very long period during "line busy" which is too often! My last appointment was by a necessary posted letter. A current Hand delivered letter, requesting a appointment, has not been responded to by late afternoon. I am now about to seek a alternative Surgery, which is known by family members for prompt attention to a patients needs.
