I very rarely write a review but I feel the need after they have taken my money, accused me of lying and acted aggressively when challenged.Last week they tried to say I couldn't add to my order (I had just ordered) and would need to order a separate portion of chips. I'm not one for an argument so brushed this aside and tried to remain positive. Perhaps a miscommunication I thought.This Saturday they accused me of not paying when my order was ready. Having just paid with a ten pound note and waiting in a not very busy kebab shop with my wife, I was told after a few minutes my order was now ready and please pay 7.80After telling them politely them I had paid, they told me I was lying and they don't take money upfront for food. Just think how stupid this statement is. They would be out of business if this was the case. After getting my wife to inform them I had paid and wasn't lying 3 times, they demanded I emptied my pockets to prove my change was correct. Unbelievable and embarrassing. After showing them to correct change, they gave me my order (which turned out to be missing the chips when home!) and to which the manager replied, in the future don't pay upfront - only when your food is ready. You're probably reading this with some scepticism, but believe me this happened and they will try and take advantage of you, even if it means intimidating you in front of everyone.
Most overrated kebab place in Hertford and quite possibly the Milky Way. Service is usually slow, incredibly overpriced for what it is. Only busy when the drunks leave the local pubs, which makes sense as you'd have to be half-blotto for it to be bearbale.
