Well run drinking pub. Well kept beer, worth a visit.
Our absolute favourite pub in Hertford - such a traditional, friendly, inviting place to be - cosy, welcoming with a lovely choice of beers and lagers. If i was to suggest one improvement I would say a little background music (live if possible) would make this place golden!
Great little friendly pub. Regularly changing real ales on handpump. Small selection of bottled Belgian beers. Food range not up to much though as only cold things like pork pies available.
Been a while since I was last in the Old Cross, glad to see all is as it should be. Great service by friendly knowledgeable staff and top beers all in the perfect environment. Must come back again soon!
