Very nice staff at the hospital
This place masquerades as a hospital facility-wise. No hospital I know of has less than 50 parking spots. And then overcharge you the princely sum of 3.70 to park!!!! Whether you are the for 10 minutes as I was when I came to get my mum-in-law. Staff are okay-ish...some do their best to assist and help. Others, like Reception, will take personal calls WHILE you wait. Definitely will rather go to Princess Alexandra or Lister.
I have visited Hertford County Hospital a couple if times in the last two months, taking my elderly father to see a haemotologist. Parking was free and easy with his disabled badge. Pay and display for other visitors is also available at the back of the hospital . We have visited both Clinic A and Clinic B and on both occasions, the receptionists and consultants /doctors were extremely pleasant and helpful. The consultants we have seen were excellent, explaining everything fully, with regards to my fathers condition. His treatment is working and we are delighted. Average wait time was 20min which is exceptional for such busy clinics. Nice cafe in the first floor selling great coffee, tea and cake (amongst other snacks)! Lovely hospital with lots of smiles from the staff.
Car Park near entrance/exit for residents ONLY, there is a sign saying residents only and private property. If told by parking officials you can park in here you cannot.
Went for x ray and blood test - 20 minutes total for both - friendly and helpful staff #lovethenhs
